Moreton Equestrian Centre is based near Dorchester in Dorset is owned and managed by Liz Frampton Hobbs. The old yard was set up in 1995 in what was the old South Dorset hunt stables. Moreton Stables moved to its current location in 2005 to a purpose build yard for 40 horses.
Liz has competed Alfie (Wiedon), a 17yr old KWPN up to BD Advanced Medium level and is hoping to get back out on him later this year after some time off through injury.
As well as organising and competing BD, Liz is a list 4 BD judge , and one of the BD Dorset County Coordinators. She has her BHS Stage 2 and is FFAW qualified. In her spare time Liz has been a member of the Reserves.

Charlotte Wilson – Yard Manager
Charlotte has worked at Moreton Stables for the last 20 years. Previously Charlotte spent 5 years working as a hunt groom and 2 years grooming for an Advanced event rider. Charlotte holds her BHS stage 1 and is First Aid Trained. Charlotte enjoys competing her retired race horse Charlie and previously competed him at the My Quest Regional finals.

Katie Dennett – Head Girl
Katie has been with Moreton Stables for 7 years. Katie studied Equine Studies at Kingston Maurward College for 3 years where she obtained an overall Distinction at level 2, a Merit for level 3 and obtained her BHS Riding and Road Safety. Katie enjoys spending her spare time with her own horse Breeze.

Helen Bull
Part Time Yard Assistant
Helen has been with Moreton since 2009, previously she worked at riding schools, Hunt, Point to Point and Event yards. Helen has a diploma in horse management, BHS Stage 1, 2 & PTT, training towards her stage 3 and is fully first aid trained. Helen in her own words ‘is definitely happiest when flying over a fence!’ Helen enjoys running, paddle boarding, dog agility with her collie Sparrow and spending time with her young family.
