Moreton Equestrian Centre is based near Dorchester in Dorset is owned and managed by Liz Frampton Hobbs.

The old yard was set up in 1995 in what was the old South Dorset hunt stables. Moreton Stables moved to its current location in 2005 to a purpose build yard for 40 horses.
Liz owns and runs Moreton Equestrian Ltd and Moreton Stables. This encompases the livery yard and all the arena based activities run throughout the year.
Liz has competed Alfie (Wiedon), an 15yr old KWPN up to BD Advanced Medium level and is hoping to get back out on him later this year after some time off through injury.
As well as organising and competing BD, Liz is a list 5 BD judge , the BD Dorset County Coordinator and on the Sports Operations committee of BD. She has her BHS Stage 2 and is FFAW qualified. In her spare time Liz is a member of the Reserves as well as trying to organise and keep up with 4 children, 2 dogs and the kids ponies that she enjoys exercising during term time.
Charlotte has worked at Moreton Stables for the last 20 years. Previously Charlotte spent 5 years working as a hunt groom and 2 years grooming for an Advanced event rider. Charlotte holds her BHS stage 1 and is First Aid Trained. Charlotte enjoys competing her retired race horse Charlie and last year competed at the My Quest Regional Finals.
Katie has been with Moreton Stables for 3 years and was promoted to Head Girl last year. Katie studied Equine Studies at Kingston Maurward College for 3 years where she obtained an overall Distinction at level 2, a Merit for level 3 and obtained her BHS Riding and Road Safety. Katie is First Aid trained and is a highly valued member of the Moreton Team. Katie enjoys spending her spare time with her own horse Breeze and has qualified for the Moreton EC Unaffiliated Dressage Championships 2018.
Part Time Yard Assistant
Helen has been with Moreton since 2009, previously she worked at riding schools, Hunt, Point to Point and Event yards. Helen has a diploma in horse management, BHS Stage 1, 2 & PTT, training towards her stage 3 and is fully first aid trained. Helen is lucky enough to ride and compete one of our liveries horses and in her own words ‘is definitely happiest when flying over a fence!’ Helen enjoys running, paddle boarding, dog agility with her 2 collies Arca and Sparrow and spending time with her young family.
