The old yard was set up in 1995 in what was the old South Dorset hunt stables. Moreton Stables moved to its current location in 2005 to a purpose build yard for 40 horses.
Liz runs Moreton Equestrian Centre and Moreton Events Ltd. This encompases all the arena and XC based activities run throughout the year.
Liz has 2 competing horses, Wiedon a 7yr old KWPN competing at BD Elementary level and Maverick Mouse a 17yr old ID x TB. Newly purchased Dreamallo, is a 4yr old Westfalian gelding and an exciting prospect for the young horse classes in 2010.
As well as organising and competing BD, Liz is a list 5 BD judge. |

Tiggy Townsend MSc BA (hons)

Tiggy completed an Equine degree at Warwickshire College in 2003. In 2007 she finished a 3 year MSc in McTimoney Equine & Small Animal manipulation qualifying her to treat back, neck, pelvic and musculoskeletal problems in horses.
Tiggy has worked at Moreton Stables for 4 years running the livery yard and assisting Liz with running competitions.
Tiggy competes at BE and is currently competing two Novice horses; Autumn Matinee owned by Melanie Trayler & Ridgeside Generous (Gus)owned by Charlie Sawyer. Gus is qualified for the BD Open Combined Training Championships at Hartpury in April 2010. Newly purchased Gunnar is Tiggy's own horse and is looking forward to a successful 2010 eventing season.

Vicky Plater

Vicky joined Moreton Stables in March 2009. She divides her time between Moreton and teaching freelance clients. Vicky holds her BHS Stage 3 and BHS AI. |

Charlotte Wilson
Head Girl |
Charlotte has worked at Moreton Stables for the last 10 years. Previously she has spent 5 years working as a hunt groom and 2 years grooming for an Advanced event rider. Charlotte holds her BHS stage 1 and in 2009 competed Liz's Maverick Mouse in BE Intro, sucessfully achieving their first placing at Moreton BE. |

Louise Bennett
Part-Time Groom |
Louise has worked at Moreton Stables for 2 years as a full time groom. Her previous experience has been in a professional Dressage yard. |

Lucie Sparks

Lucie joined the team at Moreton in January 2010. Lucie has a First Diploma in Equine Studies and a National Award in horse care. She holds her BHS satge 1 and is currently studying towards gaining her teaching qualifications. Lucie is looking forwards to the coming BE season with her 7yr old warmblood, Beau. |
