Moreton Gardens Camping and Weddings

Moreton Gardens
MORETON GARDENS – wedding and function venue
The gardens are available for special functions, including wedding receptions, corporate entertainment, musical and other events.
The Gardens
Moreton Gardens is a private 3 acre walled landscaped garden with a variety of plant environments, stream-fed ponds and large lawn spaces, styled on the original Georgian and subsequent Victorian design with long borders, formal gardens, wetland features and woodland. Located discretely in the centre of the village, the gardens have easy access, ample parking and essential facilities for guests.
The lawn space is ample for a sizeable marquee. Guests are free to enjoy the gardens, take memorable photos and to relax and enjoy your event.
Moreton Gardens is available for hire throughout the year.
Marquees and Catering
Marquee and Catering hire is not included in the venue site price and you are therefore able to arrange marquee hire and catering to suit your budget. We can recommend local companies for both marquee and catering and the other essentials to suit your purpose.

Moreton Camping site
We are situated in Moreton in the beautiful Purbeck area of the Dorset Countryside. Our camp site is on the edge of the picturesque village which stands by a ford on the River Frome, surrounded by many Woodland Walks, Cycle Paths and Bridleways. St. Nicholas Church is well-known for its unique engraved windows and the grave of T.E.Lawrence ( of Arabia ). Moreton Tea Rooms & Restaurant have dedicated a room to his life and memory and have many unique items on display.
Our Camping Site is positioned on level, peaceful parkland setting with the aim to provide a simple, clean and friendly environment for families and couples. Our pitches are a generous 10 m square and the site has ample stand pipes, sinks for washing up, flushing portable toilets with sink and soap for hand washing and free hot water showers which are all cleaned and attended to regularly. Well behaved dogs are welcome but please clean up behind them. BBQs and stoves are accepted, raised off the grass; bricks are provided for the disposable type.
The surrounding area is well situated for exploring the Dorset area and has much to offer for nearby attractions such as landscapes and seascapes. Plenty of places to visit, activities and entertainment to keep you entertained while you have your stay at Moreton Camp site. Moreton Railway Station is 1.5 miles and can take away the hassle of parking when visiting Dorchester, Weymouth, or Poole, Bournemouth in no time at all. Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Lulworth Castle, The Jurassic Coast & Beaches are also just a short drive away.
